In other news since we last spoke, I…

went on my first Virgin Voyages cruise and I will never go back to an interior cabin again. A balcony is a must! Shout out to Carrie at Grand Millennial Travel! I recommend her for all your travel needs.
Submitted to a short story contest and lost, but I won back my confidence when I decided to get up on the fly and read my story in a new space to a bar full of strangers and aced it (and who knows. Maybe you’ll read that story as a novel one day).
Finalized the new version of my poetry collection, Pressed Petals. I teased the cover a while back, but here is the full reveal! You will be able to purchase this very soon, wherever books are sold.

Currently Watching: Poop Cruise on Netflix (so gross but omg) and the new season of And Just Like That on HBO Max (I’m a Carrie with a little bit of Samantha).
Currently Listening To: This incredible podcast episode featuring the late Andrea Gibson (that news crushed me this week, as I’m sure it has many of you fellow poets and writers).

✨ Outfit of the Month (O.O.T.M.)

It’s giving “Birthday Party Goodie Bag” with 90s graphics and a side of major vacation vibes. I wore this both on vacation AND to work when I got back (to keep the party going. Life is too short to wear stuffy and plain clothes to the office. I need whimsy and fun).
